Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ‘thinking’ of a huge summer signing
Chelsea has been linked with Matthijs de Ligt for months, and the Blues are now joined in their pursuit of the Juventus star by Liverpool.
According to Calciomercato, Jürgen Klopp’s team is ‘thinking’ about signing the defender.
Liverpool are keeping an eye on the 22-year-old, while Juventus are attempting to sign him to a new contract.

The contract of the Netherlands international expires in 2024 and includes a €125 million buyout clause. According to the article, the new agreement will feature a “reduced release clause.”
Signing a contract extension with the Old Lady does not guarantee De Ligt’s future with the Turin club.

Given the expenses required in a deal and the fact that central defense isn’t exactly an area Klopp wants to reinforce this summer, any transfer to Anfield would be surprising.
