Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp set to explore ‘£29m’ transfer option ‘better than Diogo Jota’ who Thierry Henry loves
Recently, players from or now playing in Portugal have garnered a lot of support from Liverpool.
The Reds should be interested in a claim made lately by Diogo Jota regarding another.
Although Liverpool is currently more in need of a midfielder than an attacker, the Reds won’t be reacting hastily to their injury crisis; instead, the greater picture will continue to be their first concern.

Although they may not currently have a need for another forward, they have previously been linked with a forward who 90Min claimed the Reds had contacted his club about last summer.
This forward is currently being linked with Arsenal and is reportedly seen as an even greater prospect than Diogo Jota.
“Pedro Neto was not [the player he was before his injury] in the last two months of last season, but in pre-season, he has scored goals and looked fully fit,”
“People might have forgotten but that pandemic season, he was by far Wolves’ outstanding player that season.
“I know that people who have worked very closely with Jota rate Neto as the better player or certainly the one with higher potential and I would agree with that from what I’ve seen.
“If Raúl Jiménez can get back to the level he was at [as well] then Wolves could surprise a few this season.”
It would take far more than his £29m Transfermarkt valuation to prise him away from Wolves, but the Portugal international, who by next summer.
When Liverpool might need another forward if Roberto Firmino departs will only have turned 23, would be worth paying more to land.
Jota came in as a back-up but established himself and now faces the challenge of doing so again exactly the type of competition that breeds success.
“I like him a lot,” Thierry Henry said of Neto on Monday Night Football (via Football.London) last year.
“It’s not easy to have everything on your shoulders. What I like is he’s not scared to beat people on the outside. I like it. He can cross with his right, finish with his left.
“He’s always looking to have a go and attack the defender always on the front foot.
“It’s not easy to do this at such a young age, in a team where you’re not often in possession and dominating games. I think he’s performed extremely well.”
