Jurgen Klopp contacts Liverpool transfer ‘target’ faster than Erling Haaland and Alphonso Davies
Liverpool will take a close look at a potential transfer target who is faster than Alphonso Davies and Erling Haaland combined. FSG will be hoping they didn’t make a mistake.
Premier League teams are once again conducting business and entering the market to improve their teams as the January transfer window has opened.
With the signing of Cody Gakpo from PSV, Liverpool has already dipped its toe into the market. However, Jürgen Klopp may make additional signings this winter.
We’ll have to wait and see if Liverpool decides to wait until the summer transfer season or chase a midfielder. But that is a conundrum that only those with the ability to see into the future can solve. We mere mortals will be left in awe
Kevin Schade, though, is a deal that is unquestionably taking place and a Liverpool transfer ‘target’ who unquestionably won’t be arriving at Anfield but is unquestionably headed to the Premier League.
The child has reportedly been under Liverpool’s radar since the summer of 2021, but he has now chosen to sign with Brentford, according to the German broadcaster NTV.
The Bees confirmed his signature on an initial loan agreement through the club’s official website, which they plan to turn permanent in the summer.
This might be another Liverpool defeat that ends in failure. But now that Schade has joined Brentford, FSG won’t be completely out of the running should he impress in the Premier League.
In that regard, it appears to be another potential “error,” but Klopp will at least get a close look at the reported transfer target. His price tag will undoubtedly skyrocket, as the Reds have discovered with Moisés Caicedo.
The Bundesliga’s top speed record was set by Schade, an explosive winger with the acceleration to trouble any opponent, in his rookie campaign, besting Erling Haaland and Alphonso Davies.
Even though he has only made 36 first team appearances for Freiburg and has only contributed to 10 goals, those appearances total just 1312 minutes, or just over 14 and a half complete matches.
That equals an incredibly strong return of 0.68 goals per 90 minutes, which he contributed to.
With six goal contributions in five appearances for Germany’s U21 side, Schade’s prolific nature is even more impressive playing in a dominant side, as you would expect.
