it’s Shamfeful” Kieran Gibbs makes Liverpool and Jude Bellingham transfer claim

Kieran Gibbs wants Jude Bellingham to secure a transfer to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, but added that it’s a ‘shame’ they don’t have the cash to sign the rising England superstar.

The former Arsenal left-back continued, “although it would hurt me,” he believes Jude Bellingham will instead join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City this summer after leaving Borussia Dortmund.

The club has decided to back away from the 19-year-old, who has been a longtime target for Liverpool; Jurgen Klopp appears to be on board with the decision.

It will be difficult for Liverpool supporters to watch when Bellingham moves to a rival club because of the associations with Steven Gerrard and his friendship with Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold. John Barnes described the teenager as “complete.”

With Kieran Gibbs giving his opinion of the player in an interview with ESPN, the Anfield crowd will be hoping that it’s just not to a team in the Premier League.

“I would like to see Bellingham go to Man City, although, it would pain me because it would make them just as strong, if not stronger than they are already,” said Gibbs

“I wouldn’t want to see him go to Real Madrid. He is at an age where he has already done so much and you don’t want to see him go somewhere and not get much game time.

“It’s a shame that Liverpool haven’t got the cash because there is just a big hole there that he can fill. It looks like he would slot in nicely.”

Without Jurgen Klopp, those in charge at Liverpool would likely face increased pressure and criticism from the fans.

Given everything Klopp has done for Liverpool, you’d think the powers that be would go above and above to sign him as a free agent.

But obviously not, as the Reds will need to attempt and add unsung players this summer if they want to get to the top once more. Manu Kone, a teenage forward from France, has been linked with a move to Merseyside.
