According to Kevin Palmer of the Sunday World, Bellingham’s representatives are aware of Liveprool’s interest.

Palmer also claims that the Reds will undoubtedly face competition for the services of the midfielder.

“Liverpool have already made initial moves to sign Jude Bellingham next summer… there will inevitably be competition for his signature but all parties are aware Liverpool are very keen to do a seal,” he wrote on Twitter.

Bellingham is reportedly well-liked by those who matter when it comes to hiring at Anfield, but Dortmund are estimated to value the 19-year-old at more than £100 million.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, was all praise for Bellingham after the midfielder scored in a 2-1 loss to Dortmund on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium.

Bellingham stated he is content with his situation at Dortmund and downplayed the likelihood of moving to the Premier League in remarks made prior to that game.

He said: “First of all, I’m here to help Borussia Dortmund win the game. If I can play well and showcase my talents, it is a bonus.

“But I’m here to win for Borussia Dortmund and I’m very happy here at the minute and I’m focused on all of the goals we have as a team and I’m not looking past that.

“The club have done loads for me and made me feel very welcome since I first came and gave me the opportunities to develop even further.

“To look past that and into the future would be disrespectful.
