As the club wants to strengthen, many players have been linked with a move to the Emirates, according to Gnabry. Last season, the 26-year-old had another excellent season with Bayern Munich, scoring 17 goals and providing ten assists in all competitions to help the German champions win their tenth Bundesliga title in a succession.

Despite his pivotal role last season and Bayern’s success since his arrival in 2018, Gnabry’s contract expires next summer. The German international has failed to agree to new terms, which has alarmed several clubs around Europe, including Arsenal, his old club.

Liverpool, however, is another Premier League club rumored to be interested. According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are interested in signing Serge Gnabry if Sadio Mane is sold this summer.

Given how good the Reds have been under Jurgen Klopp in recent years, the Arsenal supporters are likely to be concerned.

In a 2019 interview with Pro Direct, the Bayern star opened up on his north London exit, he said:

“It was the hardest decision, but I think it worked out well because I wanted to play. But as a club, Arsenal are top, top.”

He’s also previously said the age-old phrase: “Once a Gunner, always a Gunner” in the past and has dropped numerous hints that he still adores the club.
