“Absolute Joke” Liverpool fans react to news of Premier League star linked with a move to Anfield £50m transfer claim.

Liverpool supporters have laughed at claims that the Reds will have to pay £50 million to sign Brighton midfielder star Yves Bissouma this summer.

Klopp chose not to bring in any midfield additions in the summer transfer window last year, instead maintaining the options already available to him.

But, the Reds have struggled in the middle of the park at times this season, and age is arguably catching up with players like James Milner and Jordan Henderson.

Also, Thiago, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, and Harvey Elliott have all suffered injuries this season, stressing the need for reinforcements in midfield in the near future.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Mali nternational in recent months, and according to The Athletic [via LFC Transfer Room on Twitter], Bissouma could be available for £50m this summer.

Reds fans have reacted to the news on Twitter, saying it is too much to spend on the Brighton midfielder, especially given the FSG’s reputation for frugality in recent transfer windows and that Bissouma value is £22.5 according to Transfermarkt.
