Report: FSG ready to back Liverpool with £85.9m for sensational midfield star

When it comes to the possibility of signing future talent Jude Bellingham, Liverpool may have their job cut out for them next summer.

Sport Bild report that FSG are prepared to ‘go all in’ on the teenage star (as relayed in a tweet by @JanAageFjortoft), though there is a disparity of €50m between what Borussia Dortmund value him and the Reds’ owners are prepared to pay.

The Merseysiders’ success over the next few years could be defined by the England international, who has nine goals so far this season, who is thought to be at the top of the club’s shortlist.

Liverpool may not be Man City or PSG that can just throw money at challenges freely till it goes away, so it will be expected that some negotiations from their hiring team.

However, the Reds will be competing against financially sound organizations that won’t hesitate to shell out an additional €50 million for a midfielder who may become the best in the world for the next ten years.

Hopefully John W. Henry & Co. will be flexible if they actually want to support Jurgen Klopp in the market and “go all in” on Bellingham, especially given the caliber of talent that has been talking about for years.
