Reports- Liverpool considering sacking Jurgen Klopp; first contact already made with UCL winner as potential replacement
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s glorious era at Liverpool might be coming to an end, according to a report from Spanish outlet El Nacional.
The Reds’ season has gotten off to a poor start with only two victories in seven games played in all competitions.

Currently, the Merseysiders sit eighth in the Premier League standings.
However, when the Reds flew to Italy for their Champions League debut against Napoli on Wednesday, things only got worse (September 7).
Liverpool lost badly 4-1 because they were outperformed in every category. The final score may have been even more embarrassing if it weren’t for goalie Alisson.
The Reds hierarchy is reportedly putting up a backup plan due to these concerning performances and may fire Klopp.
According to El Nacional, Luis Enrique, the head coach of Spain’s national team, is the front-runner to succeed Klopp at Liverpool.
It is believed that the Spanish has already interacted with the English giants for the first time.
The Reds will not, however, respond as quickly as Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, who fired manager Thomas Tuchel on Tuesday after the team’s defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League (September 6).
In what will be a lengthy season, Klopp has until January to steady the ship at Anfield. The German will have to deal with Liverpool’s lack of drive and the absence of a potent leadership group.
After the Qatar 2022 World Cup, according to El Nacional, Enrique will wrap up his time with the Spain national team and might be accessible in January.
