Real Madrid will now face Liverpool in a replay of the 2018 finals with Salah, who admitted after the Reds’ own semi-final victory over Villarreal that he wanted to meet Real Madrid, particularly in revenge against the Spanish side.
The Egyptian was known to have been forced out of the first half of the 2018 Champions League final in Kiev with a shoulder injury sustained following a tussle with Sergio Ramos,as Loris Karius’s horror show saw Jurgen Klopp’s side fall to a 3-1 defeat.
Also, Madrid also knocked Liverpool out of the Champions League at the quarter-finals stage last year, progressing 3-1 on aggregate with Salah scoring the Reds’ goal in Spain.
And after suffering quite a bit of misery at the hands of the La Liga champions, the Liverpool attacker took to social media to send a bold message about the prospect of facing Real Madrid again.
