Immediately after the opening kickoff of Sunday’s match between Liverpool and Manchester City, James Milner attempted to halt Erling Haaland.

James Milner had an outstanding performance against the reigning champions, building a red wall on the right side of the pitch with Joe Gomez.

After the first whistle, one fan, @lfccxt, caught the 36-year-old blocking a run from Erling Haaland, ensuring that the Englishman set the tone right away.

The fact that we were able to silence the Nordic goal machine at Anfield speaks much about the caliber of our back four’s performance, as only Bournemouth has done this season.
