Liverpool supporters would have been devastated to lose to Arsenal, but if the Jordan Henderson game-related report is accurate, it is much more concerning.

Videos and articles that have circulated on social media seem to imply that our captain has been charged with using insulting language toward Gabriel during the match at the Emirates.

The two players’ altercation, which caused a very protracted break in play with the referee speaking to both managers, is captured on video from the stands.

Granit Xhaka and Bobby Firmino’s reactions have been used online as “evidence” that our skipper stated something disturbing to hear, but the video is by no means definitive proof.

As reported by BBC Sport, an FA spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident that took place during the match between Arsenal and Liverpool. We are in dialogue with the match officials and will review the details of the incident”.
