Liverpool boss jurgen Klopp a big fan of Bellingham, but after a crowded transfer market, they’re unlikely to sign him this summer and will likely wait until the next year.
Liverpool is now expected to wait a full year before attempting to sign the highly-rated Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. Liverpool has concluded all of their incoming transfer business for this summer.

Jude Bellingham is Liverpool’s top target
The Benfica attacker Darwin Nunez was one of the signings of the summer for the Reds, who also signed enticing talents Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay.
Sadio Mane appears to be moving closer to joining Bayern Munich, so departures are still likely at the club, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita could now end up staying.
Their present contracts only have a year left on them. Although Oxlade-Chamberlain is unlikely to receive one, Keita had a solid year and could still receive an extension.
Before an official move is finalized for Bellingham next summer, the 28-year-old might serve as a stopgap in the team.
Bellingham’s anticipated arrival early in the next season might be related to Liverpool’s progress. Jurgen Klopp has used a 4-3-3 formation for the majority of his time in command at Anfield.
The majority of Liverpool’s recent recruiting has focused on acquiring players that are ideal for this formation. However, some more recent purchases give the impression that change might be approaching.
Nunez, for instance, falls within the category of a classic number nine, as opposed to Roberto Firmino, who may wear the number 9 but plays as the number 10. The team also signed Carvalho, who has primarily flourished as a pure 10; a 4-3-3 has no place for one of them.
The new club profiles and the fact that Klopp frequently utilised the 4-2-3-1 formation early in his Liverpool tenure suggest that a change may be coming as a result of these acquisitions.
In the upcoming season, Klopp is unlikely to stick with the same lineup right away; instead, he’ll probably give the newcomers some time to adjust and settle in. As the campaign progresses, he might begin to play about with the setup more and more.
Bellingham will very definitely have a big part to play inside it if the long-term goal is to adopt this strategy. Because of his talent and adaptability, the England international could fill any position in the midfield.
Liverpool realistically won’t be able to sign three new players in that position, though if they sign Bellingham, it won’t matter. Klopp and his staff will know he’s got a very high ceiling and a skill set that could see him fill the void left by all three of those departing Liverpool stars.
