The opening 45 minutes were forgettable for Liverpool fans, but things might have turned out very differently if Darwin Nunez had scored after a wonderful assist from Mo Salah.

The Uruguayan teammate, who did almost everything correctly, was found by the Egyptian King when he effortlessly grabbed the ball out of the air.

Ben Mee, to the dismay of our No. 27 and all Red supporters, managed to get back on the line and clear the ball to safety.

The 23-year-old can be excused for wondering what else he needs to do to score goals right now, but let’s hope that they start coming soon.
