Bobby Firmino’s performance at Ibrox on Wednesday night was a subtle reminder to many Liverpool fans of just how good the he is.

After Darwin Nunez joined us from Benfica for £64 million in the summer, many believed our No. 9 would only play a supporting role this year. However, the former Hoffenheim player has stepped up this season.

During our 7-1 drubbing of Rangers in the Champions League, the 31-year-old was at his spectacular best, scoring twice and dishing out a lovely assist for our new No. 27.

He cleverly occupied positions in-between the host’s midfield and defense and directed play with some wonderful one-touch movements, making the Gers unable to contain his movement and skill.

We can easily steal all three points from Pep Guardiola’s team if the Brazil international performs so well against Manchester City on Sunday.

It was enjoyable to watch Firmino perform at Ibrox, and it is certain that, under Jurgen Klopp, he still has a significant part to play.
