The reds captain Jordan Henderson provided Liverpool an injury boost, by being selected by England to feature in the coming Nations League fixtures against Italy and Germany.

Our captain was exercising separately from the main team and with some others who were gradually reintegrating with the main squad because he had only recently returned from injury.

Given that Jude Bellingham was one of the other trainers, our supporters have been adding two and two to come up with five, which may not sound like much of a news update.

We can only hope that “Agent Hendo” was on the case when the midfielder, who was born in Sunderland, was observed speaking with the young Borussia Dortmund player.
