Mane discussed his many trips to Munich during his time at RB Salzburg and how the welcoming gestures of the soccer fans left a lasting impression on him in his first interview since joining Bayern.
After the first training session prior to the preseason friendly, Mane expressed his satisfaction and added that he is looking forward to supporting the squad in the upcoming Bundesliga season.
Speaking to the club’s official media team, Sadio Mane shared his views on the first training session and his decision to join the German club. He said via iMiaSanMia:
“It was very good. I enjoyed it and so did the other guys. I’m very happy to be here. It was our first day together and I’m looking forward to the start of the season.
“I met them before, back then as opponents. Now we’re teammates and I’m glad I got to know them.”

After spending six years with Liverpool, where he amassed numerous championships, 120 goals, and 48 assists in 269 games, Sadio Mane left for the German club.
According to Sky Sports, the former Liverpool player signed a three-year, £35 million contract with the Bavarians.
The Senegal international and Liverpool were unable to come to an agreement on a new deal, and Mane was forced to hunt for a new team when Darwin Nunez joined from Benfica.
In an effort to replace Robert Lewandowski, should and when the Polish international decide to go, the German club saw a chance and signed Mane.
