Sadio Mane’s agent provides an update into his client’s contract negotiations with Liverpool

Liverpool star Sadio Mane’s agent Bjorn Bezemer has given an update into the Senegalese international contract talks with the Anfield outfit.

Bezemer reveals that Mane and liverpool “are not talking about a contract extension” at the moment.

“We talk a lot with Liverpool but currently we are not talking about a contract extension, we are waiting for the end of the season,” said Bjorn Bezemer as per TFM Senegal.

Sadio Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 for a sum of £34 million.

He has developed into one of the best forwards in the Premier League during his time at Liverpool.

He has scored 111 goals and provided 45 assists in 254 appearances for the club.

Mane has won Champions League title, a Premier League title, and an EFL Cup with Liverpool.

Mane’s future at Anfield has come into question since the arrival of Luis Diaz from FC Porto in January.

Luis Diaz is no doubt seen as the ideal replacement for the Mane, whose contract is set to expire in 2023. Bezemer, however, has remained coy about Mane’s future with the Merseyside club.
