Report: Liverpool are in talks to complete a late deal before the transfer deadline

Before the transfer market closes the next week, Liverpool is reportedly in talks to sell Nat Phillips, however, they have not entirely ruled out making a new signing.

According to reports, the Reds will hold off on adding to their midfield until the summer. Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham remains their main target.

According to the source, Jurgen Klopp is looking to reinforce his current midfield, which has been a shadow of what it was last season and is considering a stop-gap loan transfer for a midfielder.

According to the source, Liverpool is currently in talks with “at least one Premier League club” about a permanent contract for center-back Nat Phillips.

Football Insider started earlier this month that Liverpool was prepared to let their fifth-choice center-back depart on a permanent basis.

jVirgil van Dijk’s hamstring injury has prevented them from accepting an offer, but they expect his return next month.

The 25-year-old has played only 65 minutes in Premier League action this season and may be eager to go in pursuit of first-team football elsewhere.
