Real Madrid ‘launch surprise move for £36m Liverpool star in a shocking deal
Real Madrid are reportedly launching a surprise transfer move for Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate.
Since going to Anfield a year and a half ago, the France international has excelled, but it appears the Reds may now have to struggle to keep him.

The 23-year-old is a favorite of Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, who wants president Florentino Perez to bring him to the Bernabeu, according to the French publication Foot Mercato.

Liverpool would be wise to maintain Konate as the long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk rather than cashing in on him now because he still has his best years ahead of him.
