Luis Diaz captured in Liverpool kit before official unveiling after £50m transfer.

Luis Diaz is closing in on his move to Anfield and has now been captured in a Liverpool kit after club staff headed to South America to complete his medical this weekend.

The Porto winger is edging closer to a move with a medical set to take place this weekend.

The 25-year-old is currently away on international duty with Colombia meaning Liverpool representatives had to fly out to South America to complete the deal.

Pictures have now surfaced on social media of the winger in a Liverpool training top, whilst holding an official match shirt.

Liverpool will pay £37.5m upfront and have also agreed on a package of add-ons worth a potential £12.5m.

Doaz has accepted personal terms on a five-year contract worth around £90,000-a-week according to reports.

Liverpool fought off a late bid from Premier League rivals Tottenham hotspurs to sign the Porto winger.

Diaz is expected to provide competition and backup for Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, and Roberto Firmino in the attack.

Diaz started his career with Barranquilla FC before moving to Junior de Barranquilla in 2017.

Two years later, Porto swooped by signing Diaz on a five-year contract after agreeing to pay the Primera A division club £6m for 80 percent of his economic rights.

The imminent arrival of the Colombian could have knock-on effects this month for the Reds as they get ready to challenge for every available title.
