Liverpool transfer; Watch Jurgen reveals excitement as the agreement for £102.5m Liverpool transfer target draws ‘near’ and almost finalized
According to reports, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are in negotiations for the transfer of Jude Bellingham, and Jürgen Klopp is a supporter of the “next Erling Haaland.”
According to Football Insider, the Reds and Borussia Dortmund are making headway in their negotiations, and Liverpool might reach an agreement to sign Jude Bellingham “within weeks.”
Although doing so mid-season makes little sense if Dortmund would not sell Bellingham this summer.
Football Insider claims that Liverpool might make arrangements to have him among their ranks as early as January.
Liverpool is reportedly “increasingly confident” that it will be able to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
The Reds have a history of setting up deals in advance of them actually happening, as they did with RB Leipzig for Naby Keita.
Borussia Dortmund won’t be willing to allow their top man depart this summer, according to Wayne Veysey of Football Insider, who provided this update.
However, the England international has a wide range of interest outside of Merseyside, so the Reds should expect competition for his signature if a deal is not reached before the upcoming summer transfer window.
Realistically speaking, we highly doubt the Bundesliga-based team would approve a departure as early as the upcoming winter transfer window – at least not without considerable monetary compensation.
With the transfer of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, we established a precedent for this type of deal, and it’s conceivable that Julian Ward and company would want to grab a potentially generational talent early on before Europe’s other giants can express their desire in a concrete manner.
Fans should, however, take this report with a grain of salt until more information becomes available.
