Liverpool table have reportedly tabled £60million in a bid to sign Premier League star Raphinha

Liverpool have signed Uruguayan International Darwin Nunez to boost their striking department, but if Sadio Mane leaves, they will also need to strengthen their wide attacking positions.

The Senegalese international has been linked with a move away from Anfield, with The Mirror reporting earlier this month that Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing £60 million playmaker Raphinha.

As per a story published by Sport today, Liverpool have submitted an offer to sign the Brazilian international.

However, the Leeds United striker and his agency, Deco, have turned down every offer that has been made to them.

Klopp wants to sign the 25-year-old to replace Mane, according to the Catalan source, but the Selecao star has said no to a transfer to Anfield and has decided to wait for Barcelona.

Due to their current financial difficulties, the Spanish giants are unable to sign the South American winger and are trying to improve their situation by selling Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United.

Nunez will most likely play in the midfield, with Firmino and Jota serving as backups. As a result, if Mane departs, we’ll want a capable replacement for Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah in the wide attacking positions.

Raphinha is a quick attacker who has shown he can play on either wing. In his first season in the Premier League, the former Sporting CP forward scored 15 goals in 26 starts.

He started 34 Premier League games for the Whites last season and was personally involved in 14 goals. So far, the winger has made 9 appearances (7 starts) for the Brazilian national team, scoring 3 goals and assisting on two occasions.
