Liverpool defender, Nath Phillips has been linked with a move away from Anfield, as he is wanted by Premier League club West Ham United.

The 24-year-old recently renewed his contract with the red, despite not having regular game playing time.

Philips featured for the entire 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

In just his only third appearance of the season under Jurgen Klopp, he was paired alongside Ibrahima Konate and did put up an impressive performance on the night.

Philips played a key role in helping Liverpool qualify for the Champions League last season and this made a number of clubs show interest in signing him in the summer.

According to a recent report, Philips has now been linked with a move to the Hammers.

As per Evening Standard, Moyes wants to bring a new center-back to the London Stadium amid an ongoing injury crisis at the club.

West Ham are without Angelo Ogbonna due to an ACL injury, while summer signing Kurt Zouma has suffered a serious hamstring injury during the weekend game against Chelsea.

On the wish list of Hammers includes Liverpool Nath Phillips, Burnley’s James Tarkowski, and Manchester City’s Nathan Ake.

For Phillips, Liverpool were willing to hear offers in the region of £15 million in the summer before he signed a new contract.

The former Bolton Wanderers Youth Academy’s new contract keeps him signed at Anfield until 2025, most likely, Liverpool’s asking price will now be higher.
