Liverpool set for private Discussion with Roberto Firmino following a dramatic swap deal

Liverpool are set for private Meeting with star forward Roberto Firmino following a dramatic swap deal
Roberto Firmino’s future at Anfield is in doubt after losing his guaranteed starting spot in the previous 12 months, while Sadio Mane has left and Mohamed Salah has agreed to a new contract.
If Roberto Firmino makes it known that he wants to leave Anfield to play in the World Cup, Liverpool may lose the second of their Three Amigos this summer.
Monday will mark the start of preseason training for Jurgen Klopp’s team, buoyed by the news that Mo Salah’s shocking decision to sign a new £350,000 a week contract has eased the disappointment of losing Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich.
With just 12 months left on the Brazilian current deal, he is attracting interest from Serie A giants, Juventus and they believe they can snap him up for less than £20m.
Juventus are reputedly set to offer Midfielder Adrien Rabiot in exchange for Liverpool’s no.9 and are planning a showdown talk with Firmino and his agent in the coming weeks.
However, if the striker indicates he would like to seek a new challenge then they are likely to cash in rather than lose the 30-year-old for nothing next year.
Firmino is a huge icon with Kop and has been a star performer since arriving from Hoffenheim for £29million seven years ago.
His chemistry with Salah and Mane was a key factor in Klopp landing both the Champions League and Premier League in successive seasons.
Having suffered with fitness issues in recent seasons as well as the arrival of Diogo Jota. And the £85million signing of Darwin Nunez is another big task to overcome.
Firmino has lost his place in Brazil’s squad in recent months and knows he will have to play regularly in the first three months of the new season to force his way into the numbering for the World Cup.
