Liverpool are facing their toughest start to the Premier League season so far and this weekend they will be traveling to clash with Arsenal.

In the race to capture a midfielder who was on the verge of joining Manchester United this summer, Liverpool is said to have joined Arsenal and Manchester City.

In August, Adrien Rabiot was heavily linked with a transfer to Old Trafford and appeared ready to leave Juventus. However, the move did not materialize, and they ultimately decided to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid.

They are still interested in the Frenchman, though, and Tutto Juve claims that Liverpool, one of their competitors, will be vying for his signature.

Since players like Thiago, James Milner, and Jordan Henderson are all in their 30s, the Reds will soon need to replace their entire midfield.

The Merseyside club did choose to sign Arthur Melo on the deadline day for transfers, but given that the Brazilian has yet to play, it appears that they are already considering other targets.

Rabiot moved to Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 and has since become a regular member of the squad. However, given his reported prickly demeanor and high wage demands, Liverpool may want to avoid signing him.

A bid for Rabiot may come as a surprise because Jurgen Klopp’s team is already rumored to be interested in splurging the dough on Borussia Dortmund and England starlet Jude Bellingham next summer.
