Liverpool have set a price tag for Takumi Minamino ahead of a possible summer departure.
Takumi Minamino has remained on the periphery of Jurgen Klopp’s first squad since his arrival in 2020, but he has plenty of summer admirers.
As the summer transfer window approaches, speculation about a player’s future intensifies, and Liverpool will be no exception – albeit delayed for the Champions League final.
And for Minamino, who drew interest in the January transfer window, the summer will be a pivotal period since his arrival at Anfield, with lots of decisions to make.

After only nine starts this season, Liverpool journalist David Lynch says that the 27-year-old is “likely to seek a move abroad” in quest of regular play.
The Reds are looking to recuperate roughly £17 million for the Japan international, according to Lynch, which would be a significant increase above the £7.25 million they paid for Minamino in January 2020.
Liverpool will believe they can achieve this price, and they will undoubtedly be harsh negotiators for a player who has a contract at Anfield until 2024.
Klopp will not want to get in the way of Minamino, and he admitted that “it’s a crime he’s not playing more often” after his significant contribution at Southampton.
Despite not playing a large number of minutes this season, Minamino has been crucial to Liverpool’s trophy push, scoring 10 goals in the league, FA Cup, and League Cup.
Leeds and Inter Milan have been mentioned as potential suitors, but you get the impression that a move to Elland Road would be considered only if they avoid relegation to the Championship, which is becoming increasingly unlikely.
This summer will be crucial for Minamino in terms of finding a squad that fits his style and can provide him with the game time he desires and deserves.
However, with Divock Origi set to go, Minamino’s departure could open the door for a new addition in attack, as the Reds will not want to be short on numbers.
