Liverpool fan favourite flies to another country as he seal deal

Liverpool icon Divock  Origi  has completed a move to the Serie A giant AC Milan according to Fabrizio Romano

Divock Origi, a favourite of Liverpool supporters, sealed the deal with AC  follwing a medical with Milan.

The 27-year-old arrived Milan to sign a contract with the Italian champions, reports transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

After being signed by the Merseyside club eight years ago, the Belgian is almost ready to join the Rossoneri on a free transfer. The striker was loaned out on two previous occasions.

As a result of the forward’s major contributions to the team, especially the two goals he scored against Barcelona in the 2018–19 UCL semifinal, Origi’s name will always be associated with Anfield.

Although he hasn’t played a lot for the Reds’ first team in recent seasons, Jurgen Klopp has trusted the player to come on and make a difference, and the player has repeatedly demonstrated that he deserves the trust.

However, with the arrivals of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz last season, the forward found it even more difficult to play, appearing in only 18 games, with the majority of those appearances coming as a substitute.

Origi’s chances of being a first-team regular for the following season were practically nil with Darwin Nunez’s acquisition. Since the acquisition of the Uruguayan from SL Benfica who had his number 27, it was in the player’s best interest to depart.
