“I love Liverpool but…” Watch €30m Brighton sensational midfielder breaks silence on his immediate future amid strong interest from Liverpool after Leicester win
Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has spoken out about his future amid interest from Liverpool.
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool has expressed interest in Moises Caicedo as a result of his recent performances.
Since players like James Milner and Jordan Henderson are nearing the end of their careers, investing in a young, rising star to take their place would be wise long-term business.
Caicedo has waited patiently for his chance to make an impression on the Brighton team ever since he joined from the Ecuadorian division.
Brighton are now benefiting from Caicedo’s longer opportunity to establish himself in the first team after Yves Bissouma was moved to Tottenham.
Following their recent victory over Leicester, Caicedo spoke to the media, addressing his future and any potential transfer.
“I’m very happy here at Brighton. I’m not thinking about any other club than Brighton.
“This is the club where I am now and I will give everything for this club and to keep doing well here,” said Caicedo, as relayed by Sussex Live.
It doesn’t seem wise for the 20-year-old to leave Brighton so soon after securing a regular spot in the side because he seems to be happy there.
The Ecuadorian has little need to pursue the major clubs at such a young age if he is playing frequently and doing well.
