After winning the competition for Aurelien Tchouameni, Real Madrid may be able to sign another midfielder ahead of Liverpool.

Real Madrid are hoping to recruit Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool.

This follows the Spanish Champions’ victory in the fight to sign Monaco’s Tchouameni, with whom Liverpool had been connected.

After PacojoSER, as mentioned by The Madrid Zone on Twitter, revealed that Real Madrid are in talks with Borussia Dortmund for Bellingham, the drama has been thrust to the forefront of the transfer window.

The England international is estimated to be worth roughly €90 million by Real Madrid.

However, according to the same rumor quoted by the Empire of the Kop, Liverpool are also willing to make a proposal for Bellingham, with the Reds willing to spend €100 million.

Liverpool has always been interested in Bellingham. According to Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy, who was referenced by Anfield Watch on Twitter, the Reds will try to sign him if the opportunity arises.

“Jude Bellingham is a talent who absolutely fits the club’s stylistic profile and vision of building for the future.

“it is no secret that Liverpool would want him for the right fee at the right time,” she said.

According to AW on Twitter, James Pearce of The Athletic also stated that he would be surprised if Liverpool were not interested in signing Bellingham.

He said: “I’d be amazed if LFC aren’t interested as he’s a very talented young player but whether that leads to an approach next summer is a very different matter.”

If the Reds are serious on signing Bellingham, they can’t afford to let him slide through their fingers.

He’s the ideal Jugen Klopp addition, and when the time comes, we need to make sure we beat out every other club interested in him.

So be it if he costs €100 million. Bellingham is a young and skilled player who has been connected with a number of big clubs. He is well worth the investment.
