Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham have made a final decision and would reportedly prefer a move to Real Madrid over the English sides interested.

The most prestigious clubs in Europe are anticipated to engage in a “battle for Bellingham” when the Birmingham-born star departs Borussia Dortmund after three seasons with the team to take on a new challenge.

Several teams are vying for his services, including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Manchester City.

The English team said to be most enthusiastic in signing the prodigy is Liverpool.

Fans believe the reason they haven’t improved their midfield choices in prior transfer windows is because the board is holding off on going “all out” on Bellingham, whose style of play has been compared to that of former red Steven Gerrard.

However, according to Spanish outlet Relevo, Bellingham is set to prioritise joining the reigning European champions.

They reported: “He prioritises a sports project that allows him to keep his evolution alive, but taking a step up and being in a club with which to fight for all the titles.”

The Englishman, along with fellow young stars Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, who also chose a transfer to Madrid over Merseyside, could play a major role in the middle of the La Liga giants’ midfield over the coming years as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric near the end of their careers.
