“He is untouchable this summer” – Watch Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool and Real failed with summer transfer approach for Ace midfield superstar
Fabrizio Romano, a renowned transfer expert, reported that Liverpool contacted Borussia Dortmund about the availability of midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The Englishman, according to the Bundesliga team, is ‘untouchable’ this summer, though.
Romano said on his podcast that Bellingham will undoubtedly draw a plethora of European goliaths next summer.

Jude Bellingham is Liverpool’s top target
Jurgen Klopp, the manager of the Reds, is a major admirer of the England international, making the Reds one of the clubs with the most interest in signing him.
Romano said (via The Anfield Talk on Twitter):
“Liverpool started the conversation a few weeks ago with Borussia Dortmund with an approach for Jude Bellingham.
“Dortmund said he is ‘untouchable’ this summer, but Liverpool is thinking of this player, and Jurgen Klopp is a big fan.”
Erling Haaland, who joined Manchester City this summer, was a crucial first-team player for Borussia Dortmund who has already left the squad.
Therefore, Bellingham is not someone Dortmund wants to sever ways with during the current transfer window.
The adolescent had a great 2021–22 season, making 44 appearances across various competitions and contributing six goals and 14 assists.
Liverpool, on the other hand, is anticipated to be looking for a new central midfielder next summer. The only important position the Reds have not improved in during the current transfer window is the midfield.
The central midfielders for the Reds are all excellent, but they are all towards the end of their careers. This summer, James Milner, 36, received a one-year extension offer.
It’s unlikely that the former England international will play past the upcoming season, though.
Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho are all in their 30s, and Fabinho will be 29 later this year.
