Liverpool released a video from the AXA Training Centre earlier today, where Harvey Elliott left James Milner and others speechless.

The £4.3 million player, though, netted a beautiful chip on Merseyside earlier, carefully dribbling the ball over Adrian, who was apparently between the sticks.

Milner’s excellent long pass is controlled by Elliott, who then uses his second touch to lift the ball over the defender and into the goal.

As the ball was lifted over Adrian, Milner can be heard saying “oh yes please” in the background, as he admires the 19-year-old’s confidence and technical ability.

Nine seconds into the 23-second video, another voice can be heard saying “wow,” as Elliott leaves his teammates in awe of his daring finish.

The young player obviously possesses a lot of talent, so it will be fascinating to see if Jürgen Klopp allows him to regularly display it in the first squad next season.

Elliott was just beginning to have an effect at Anfield when he suffered a horrific ankle injury at Elland Road, severely impeding his development at a time when he was thriving.

We don’t see any reason why the new Liverpool No. 19 can’t be an important player for the Reds next season if he continues to excel in training, since Klopp evidently has a lot of faith in him.
