Graeme Souness showers praise on a reported Liverpool target Following outstanding man city performance- “proper player”
Following his dominant display against Manchester City in the English Premier League, former Scotland international Graeme Souness has hailed Liverpool target Jarrod Bowen.
Manchester City, the defending English Premier League champions, played West Ham United in their penultimate Premier League match on Sunday afternoon (May 15). Bowen scored two goals in the 24th and 45th minutes, respectively, as the Hammers put everything at City at home.

Manchester City finally clawed their way back into the game, drawing 2-2 thanks to a Jack Grealish strike and a Vladimir Coufal own goal.
Bowen, who is apparently on Liverpool’s radar (via 90min), impressed former Reds player Souness with his performance against Man City. He described the West Ham United striker as a “decent player.”
“This boy is a proper player. He has had a really really good season.”
Bowen now has 22 Premier League goal involvements this season after his brace against the Cityzens.
Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur is the only other Englishman with more goal assists (24) than Bowen this season. Bowen’s goal total of 12 is all the more impressive because none of his goals have come from the penalty spot.
