Divock Origi made an unexpected prediction for Liverpool ahead of his departure at the club’s parade
Origi is expected to leave Anfield this summer when his contract expires after eight years with the club.
The Belgian striker’s current contract expires at the end of next month, and reports continue to link him with a move to AC Milan.
Origi was given a guard of honour by his teammates and club personnel at the end of Liverpool’s final Premier League match of the season against Wolves.

A commemorative framed plaque of the Champions Wall was then presented to the striker.
Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool team took part in a trophy parade across the city on Sunday to commemorate the club’s achievements.
The fans were presented with the FA Cup and Carabao Cup trophies, as the Liverpool Women’s team celebrated their Championship title and advancement to the Women’s Super League.
Origi was speaking to club reporters on the parade bus on the current state of the Liverpool team. After that, the 27-year-old made a prediction for the team’s future.
“Like I said, I feel like our purpose is done,” said Origi on the club’s Twitter account.
“So it helps to put it in a good perspective, and I feel like we are in good hands.
“There is so much still to come for this team.”
