With reports this week claiming Liverpool have given up on the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, it seems they already have an alternative for him in the Bundesliga.

As outlet Foot Mercato today features a story about Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, they say he’s been drawing the interest from Premier League sides.

The 20-year-old is not getting the playing time he expected in his first season at the German club, and the report shows Liverpool as one of the options he may have in the summer.

It’s claimed that the Reds are ‘interested’ and want to start a ‘new cycle’ at the club. Jurgen Klopp already wanted a midfielder last year, and they now want to ‘go all out’ this time.

Liverpool just need to be aware about the competition from the Premier League for this signing, since the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are both said to be keen on signing Gravenberch as well.

Bayern Munich spent €18.5m to sign the player from Ajax last summer, and could undoubtedly make more if the English clubs actually come for him
