Erling Haaland and Liverpool transfer claim made amid Man City charges as Inter ‘wants’ Reds ace
Erling Haaland of Man City could have an impact on Liverpool this summer, as the Reds might lose a favorite of Jürgen Klopp to Inter Milan.
Jamie Carragher, a former midfielder for Liverpool, believes that the Reds shouldn’t have put themselves in a position where they were forced to depend only on their captain, Jordan Henderson, for every single game.

“I go back to Jordan Henderson,” Carragher told The Overlap. “He’s taking a lot of stick off Liverpool supporters at the moment. Henderson has done his job, he comes at 21, he’s 32 and he’s won everything. He shouldn’t be playing every week right now anyway.
“That’s because the mismanagement of the squad means he’s not in the team right now, but he shouldn’t be playing week in and week out where he is now at 32 or 33. He’s having to play there because of the mismanagement of the squad.”
Erling Haaland transfer claim made
Manchester City could lose Erling Haaland to Real Madrid in the summer, according to Mundo Deportivo, with the Spanish outlet reporting that the La Liga champions are lining up a move for the Norwegian forward.
Speculation around a number of Manchester City players is likely to emerge amid the Premier League allegations aimed at the Etihad side earlier this week, with Haaland one high-profile name that has been linked with Real Madrid before.
Not only does the report in Spain claim that Haaland could be on the move, though. They also say that it could have a positive impact on Real Madrid’s pursuit of Jude Bellingham (and therefore a negative one on Liverpool) — because the pair know each other well from their time at Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool, the report states, could find attracting Bellingham difficult if they miss out on the Champions League places, as seems likely at this stage, which seems a reasonable point to make, but Haaland could make the Reds’ transfer plans even harder.
Roberto Firmino future
Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has been ‘waved under the nose’ of Inter Milan, Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy reports, with doubts over the future of Romelu Lukaku.
Ideally, Inter would like to keep Lukaku on another loan deal from Chelsea, but should they fail to keep hold of him for next season, Firmino is an option they could explore, with intimation being that Firmino’s agent may have offered the player’s services.
Inter and Chelsea have supposedly agreed to talk about Lukaku after the Champions League last-16 is out of the way, at which time a decision would then be made with Firmino, according to the report.
