Liverpool star sets new Premier League record with involvement in Salah goal
Andrew Robertson, a left back for Liverpool, recently contributed to a small piece of Premier League history by setting up Mohamed Salah for this evening’s game-opening goal against Aston Villa.
The Scotland international has been one of Jurgen Klopp’s best buys, and his incredible assist total supports that claim as he now passed Leighton Baines to become the Premier League defender with the most assists ever.
Robertson has 54 assists in the Premier League as of right now, surpassing former Everton left-back Baines, who had 53 assists throughout his time playing at the highest level.
