(Video) Goal!!: Watch Di Maria finishes off sensational Argentina move to double the lead against France in World Cup final
After just 36 minutes in Qatar, Di Maria made it 2-0 for Argentina versus France in the World Cup final. After taking the lead thanks to a Lionel Messi penalty, Lionel Scaloni’s team established control of the contest with a well-executed team goal.
Alexis MacAllister was released by Messi and Julian Alvarez working together.
After Di Maria’s goal, France had a steep hill to climb. Didier Deschamps, the manager of Les Bleus, replied by making two substitutions just before halftime.
The manager substituted Marcus Thuram and Randal Kolo Muani for Ousmane Dembele and Olivier Giroud.
Argentina is attempting to win the World Cup for a third time, while France is attempting to win back-to-back championships for the first time in 60 years.
