Liverpool holds renewed Kylian Mbappe following a family meeting with Club
Following a meeting between Paris Saint- Germain’s forward and Reds owner John W Henry on Henry’s private plane, Liverpool has newfound optimism about signing Kylian Mbappe.
Despite only signing a new deal in May, Mbappe is thought to feel betrayed by PSG management.
Mbappe’s exit from PSG in the summer was highly predicted, with a transfer to Real Madrid appearing likely. But unexpectedly, near the close of the previous season, he signed new terms on a lucrative long-term contract with PSG.
In his first 13 games of the season, Mbappe has scored 12 goals and has been in dominant form. But L’Equipe earlier this week stated that he feels betrayed because so many of his promises have been breached. And it appears that his relationship with PSG is in a dilemma.
The 23-year-old may have ruined his relationship with the Spanish giants, who won the Champions League last season, after turning down a move to Real Madrid earlier in the year. And it might make a move to Anfield possible.

Liverpool might find it difficult to pay Mbappe’s wages in addition to the huge transfer fee. However, Nike sponsors both the Reds and Mbappe, which may work to Liverpool’s advantage.
Mbappe’s extraordinary abilities have been obvious for years. And Klopp remarked, “I love him, to be honest. He is a great player and a kind guy, so he is a really decent kid. What a player, what a player.
“Everyone knows him since he was 16, 17 when he impressed in Monaco’s youth teams, and I saw videos of him when he was 17 and he destroyed defensive lines as he is doing now. He’s at an unbelievable level of consistency at that age.
He’s an outstanding player, that’s clear, but he can deliver, deliver and deliver, which shows he’s really good educated boy and he knows what he is doing.”
