Liverpool submit offer to sign £340,000-a-week star as his Club gives him two options

The Mirror quotes Futbol Total as saying that Liverpool has made a £60 million bid to sign the Dutch star during the summer transfer window.

In recent months, De Jong has been linked with a transfer away from Barcelona, but he has so far resisted the idea and insists that he wants to stay and play at the Nou Camp.

The Catalan club has made several significant acquisitions, but they still have to stay under the La Liga pay cap.

The scenario for the midfielder, who is also sought after by Manchester United and Chelsea, is undoubtedly tricky.

He primarily plays in the No. 6 position, which is usually occupied by Busquets, Barcelona’s starting captain.

Franck Kessie, an Ivorian playmaker, was additionally recruited this summer to bolster the midfield.
