“He’s incredible” – Watch Jurgen Klopp personally ‘requests signing’ of £468,000/month star to complete a stunning Liverpool attack
To complete his attack before the start of the 2022–23 Premier League season, Jurgen Klopp has personally asked Liverpool to buy Marco Asensio this summer.
The first Premier League matchweek of the new season is exactly one month away, and reports suggest Liverpool’s transfer business is still ongoing.
In his current position as sporting director, Julian Ward has already accomplished some amazing things, and if reports are to be believed, he may soon add Marco Asensio to the team.
According to Sport Witness, the Wednesday issue of the Spanish daily SPORT states that “Liverpool like Asensio.”
According to reports, AC Milan’s interest in the forward has diminished, which has led Asensio to “look favorably” upon a transfer to Anfield.
Sadio Mane was transformed into a forward feared throughout Europe under Jurgen Klopp’s management, and Mohamed Salah has consistently been the best right wing in the Premier League since joining Liverpool.

At the age of 26, Asensio is facing a crucial professional decision.
He could, on the one hand, choose a job that pays him much more than the £117,000 per week (£468,000 per month) he currently receives at the Santiago Bernabeu.
On the other hand, he could make a bold move and sign with a team like Liverpool, earning pay commensurate with his talent, but that would also reflect his faltering career at Real Madrid.
If Liverpool is truly interested in Asensio, Klopp might be able to realize the enormous potential of the Spaniard and develop him into a player of the highest caliber.
The left-footed forward is a wizard on his best day, capable of working moments of magic to breach defenses and score goals from absurd angles and distances.
Uncertainty surrounds whether he can withstand the challenge that the Premier League presents to newcomers.
A player leaving Real Madrid is always closely watched, and if he were to sign with Liverpool, the pressure on him to make a good decision would only increase.
Asensio might not even have room at Liverpool because Mohamed Salah, who recently renewed his contract, will be the team’s top choice at right wing until he departs.
After sitting on the sidelines for the majority of the last several seasons at Real Madrid, Asensio is unlikely to be eager to accept a bench position.
Klopp, however, has a talent for making players feel important despite their limited playing time.
Due to the departures of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino, that argument may not be as compelling as it once was, but Asensio would still log significant playing time for the Reds due to Liverpool’s lack of depth on the wings and the amount of football top Premier League clubs require of its players.
Given that Thiago will join Liverpool in 2020, Fabio Carvalho will join this summer, and there have been rumors that Liverpool is interested in players like Gavi and Asensio, Klopp may decide to adopt a more technical, possession-based system going forward.
Obviously, the German is unlikely to ever entirely abandon his heavy-metal style of play, but Liverpool needs to find a sustainable manner to play and keep possession in order to compete at the top.
If Liverpool were to sign the Real Madrid player, their attack would consist of Asensio, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Fabio Carvalho.
