Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott dedicated his first Premier League goal to his grandmother after confirming to LFCTV that she had passed away ‘a few days ago’.
The fact that the 19-year-old was able to put on another outstanding performance in front of Anfield fans and lead the Reds to a scoreline equaling nine goals is a credit to his exceptional character.
The Englishman’s friends, family, and loved ones will undoubtedly be extremely proud of him for his contributions thus far this season.
