Harvey Elliott may have been the Reds hero to score the game-winning penalty during Liverpool’s shootout triumph over Derby, and Caoimhin Kelleher may have saved three penalties, but Darwin Nunez’s calm penalty has mostly gone unnoticed.
After Louie Sibley tied the shootout score at 2-2 and Bobby Firmino missed from 12 yards, the Uruguayan took the penalty kick.
The £64 million guy was under pressure to score, and he succeeded in doing so.
