Liverpool FC are linked with another superstar midfielder, the Spanish International Marcos Llorente.

According to a Spanish source, Fichajes, jurgen Klopp, who has expressed displeasure with the lack of significant additions this summer, is aware that the midfield needs to be strengthened and he will try to find a solution in the closing days of the transfer season.

According to the news source, Liverpool is getting ready to make their final move of the signing period to bring in Llorente, who may end up leaving the Wanda Metropolitano.

Recently, claims contradicting one other have appeared from sources in Madrid. The Faithful reported over the weekend that Atletico Madrid is turning down offers for all important players this summer, and the only way to get a player is to trigger the release clause.

According to AS’s report from last week, the Colchoneros turned down Felix for 130 million euros and Cunha, Morata, and Llorente for 40 million euros each.

The contract of the 27-year-old player contains a release clause worth 120 million euros (£101 million).

At Real Madrid, Llorente was not given a fair chance. He first started out on the bench after joining the Rojiblancos.

But when the midfielder scored a brace to eliminate Liverpool from the Champions League in the 2019–20 season, everything changed.

The 16-cap La Roja standout primarily played through the middle (CM, AM, SS) in the 2020–21 campaign and personally assisted in 23 goals (12 goals and 11 assists) to help Atletico win La Liga.

Surprisingly, Simeone moved him to the right side of the pitch (RM, RB) during the previous season, where he failed to register a single goal.
