Watch as Granit Xhaka receives a proper shove from Ibrahima Konate during yesterday’s match between Liverpool and Arsenal.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s tackle of the Swiss midfielder sparked a confrontation between Konate and Xhaka, which led to their fight.
A number of players stepped forward to help resolve the conflict, but Konate was having none of it and shoved Xhaka, sending him flying.
The referee ended up bringing the fights to an end issueing both Trent and Xhaka yellow cards with the two teams going on to put on a show in a fascinating 2-2 draw, which cut Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table by two points, while Liverpool remain 8th.
