The reds boss Jurgen Klopp names five Liverpool players who have helped Luis Diaz settle
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has lauded Luis Diaz after his astonishing performance in the 2-0 Brighton win. He also revealed the players who have helped him settle at the club.
Luis Diaz has been incredible for the reds since his £50million move from Portuguese side FC Porto at the end of January, displaying some eye-catching performances in the Attacking department alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
The Colombian international opened the scoring in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Amex stadium as Liverpool closed the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City to three points.

The reds winger bravely headed past Robert Sanchez before he collided with the goalie who avoided a red card for the incident.
Jurgen Klopp explained how the Spanish and Portuguese speaking players like Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota have helped Diaz adjust to his new surroundings.
“He’s a very good player, let me say it like this,” Klopp said about Diaz (via Liverpoolecho).
“We don’t have groups in our teams but what we do have is a few guys who speak Spanish and Portuguese and that helps Luis a lot.
“The very experienced players like Thiago, they take him under their wing. Fab, Bobby (Firmino) and Diogo are all really close to him and that helps.
“But in general he is a really nice kid. I am not sure how Harvey Elliott and Luis talk but they are together quite a lot and that means the boy has settled as quickly as the player.”
Klopp added: “For the player, what I can say is, when we were looking at him, it is not so easy to bring in a player in the winter without any kind of pre-season.
“But with Luis, it was interesting because the way he played at Porto is exactly the way we want him to play here.
“So he hasn’t had to adapt really. He still has his moments defensively but he has speed and is a pretty good dribbler.
“He can carry the ball pretty quick and his dribbling is not bad.
“I don’t think we have seen the full range of his shooting skills that we saw when we scouted him, so there is a lot of space for improvement but he is a good player.”
