Pep Guardiola sends honest Man City ‘complacency’ message to Liverpool
Liverpool has been commended by Pep Guardiola for keeping his Manchester City players from becoming complacent.
City leads Liverpool by a single point going into the final day of the Premier League season, with both teams assured of a top-two finish for the third time in four seasons.

If Jurgen Klopp’s team wins before the end of the day, it will be their second title in three seasons. Pep Guardiola’s side, on the other hand, is aiming for their fourth title in five seasons.
Guardiola also addressed Sky Sports ahead of the final-day deciders:
“We have an opponent that brings you through the limits, otherwise complacency will arrive.
“The players are not stupid, we don’t need to tell them how good they (Liverpool) are.
“They play against them or they see it on TV, and I said ‘wow, if we want to be there we have to do it’.
“I think it’s quite similar that they (Liverpool) should think about us.”
