Manchester United recieves triple injury boost as 3 star players are set to return from injury for Premier League restart

Three academy graduates are anticipated to return to Erik ten Hag’s squad for the start of the Premier League season.

Axel Tuanzebe, a defender for Manchester United, hopes to be healthy enough to resume playing in the Premier League this month.

Due to a back issue, Tuanzebe has been sidelined since July; nonetheless, he has continued his recovery at United’s Carrington training facility throughout the World Cup. Tuanzebe has been speeding up his rehabilitation by running in zero gravity.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Aston Villa and Napoli, so he hasn’t played for United since the team’s Europa League final loss to Villarreal in May 2021.

Tuanzebe would give senior center-backs Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, and Harry Maguire competition. Teden Mengi and Dishon Bernard, who are expected to return to the field at midseason, are expected to be loaned out by United.

Tom Heaton, United’s goalkeeper, is similarly optimistic that his knee injury will heal in time for the team’s training camp in Spain the following week.

A training injury to the 36-year-old prevented him from playing in the previous five games, effectively depriving Heaton of making his full United debut in the League Cup victory over Aston Villa on November 10.

Full-back After recovering from a chronic injury that has kept him out of action since July, Brandon Williams is anticipated to travel to Cadiz with the rest of the United team.

Williams, who is 22 years old, last appeared for United in May 2021 and spent last season on loan at Norwich. The United manager Erik ten Hag trained with the academy graduate during the summer, but an injury prevented him from participating in the preseason tour of Thailand and Australia.

Prior to playing Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on December 27 in the Premier League, United begin their season on December 21 when Burnley visits in the League Cup’s fourth round.
