Liverpool XI vs West Ham: Predicted lineup, team news, injury latest, prediction, and kickoff-time.
Liverpool will look to remain hot on the heels of Premier League leaders Manchester City when they welcome West Ham United to Anfield on Saturday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will come into action on the back of League Cup triumph over Chelsea at the weekend and a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Norwich City in the 5th round of the FA Cup.
The Reds will now face Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Liverpool team news
Liverpool are waiting on news of injuries to midfielder Thiago Alcantara and Curtis Jones ahead of the Premier League game against West Ham.
Thiago pulled up with a hamstring problem in the warm-up ahead of the Carabao Cup final and sat out both wins over Chelsea and Norwich as a result
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp admitted he was “not sure” if the Spaniard would be ready for the weekend, with the following Champions League clash against Inter Milan also in doubt.
“He’s fine again but not fit again. Like always, you don’t know [how long he will be out] exactly. Weekend not sure, maybe Milan, after that definitely.” said Klopp
The Reds also lost academy product Jones to an injury in the 2-1 FA Cup victory over Norwich City during the midweek.
“Curtis Jones played a really good first-half, we had to take him off because he felt his thigh slightly,” stated Klopp.
“I don’t think it’s a real injury, but there was no need to take a risk and that’s why we brought Harvey [Elliott] on.”
Brazil international Roberto Firmino remains out due to a groin problem as Liverpool rotated their line-up. Klopp will provide an update on his squad’s fitness on Friday.
Head to head (h2h) history

Liverpool wins: 78
Draws: 37

Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Keita, Fabinho, Henderson; Salah, Jota, Mane.
